A good cheap gift is one that gets used every week, not one that ends up in a drawer. These five are small, easy to wrap and cover a wide range of people on your list.
We don't get paid for these picks, and the product links go to the makers' own pages.
The 5 picks at a glance
- Roku Streaming Stick: turns an older HD TV into a streaming TV
- JLab Go Pop+: low-cost wireless earbuds
- Anker Nano Power Bank (30W, Built-In USB-C Cable): a pocket battery with its own cable
- Logitech Pebble Keys 2 K380s: a slim Bluetooth keyboard that switches between three devices
- Logitech Brio 100: a basic 1080p webcam with a privacy shutter
Where the maker's page shows a price, we've included it. Where it doesn't, we've left it out rather than guess.
1. Roku Streaming Stick
Who it's for: anyone with an HD TV in the bedroom or kitchen that isn't "smart," or has slow built-in apps.
| Spec | Roku Streaming Stick, model 3840R (official) |
|---|---|
| Video | Up to 1080p (1920 x 1080) with up-scaling from 720p |
| Wi-Fi | Dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4 GHz / 5 GHz) |
| Connections | Built-in HDMI and USB-C for power |
| Remote | Voice remote with TV power, volume and mute buttons (Roku says the TV buttons work with most TVs) |
| In the box | USB-C to USB-A power cable |
Our read: For an HD TV this is a tidy gift: it plugs into the back of the TV, and Roku says it can run on power from the TV alone. One remote for the TV and the stick is a real win for anyone who hates juggling remotes.
Skip it if: the TV is 4K. Roku sells the Streaming Stick Plus (4K) and Streaming Stick 4K for that. Also keep in mind Roku says a paid subscription or other payments may be needed for some app content.
2. JLab Go Pop+
Who it's for: a teen, a commuter or anyone who keeps losing earbuds and wants a low-cost pair.
| Spec | JLab Go Pop+ (official) |
|---|---|
| Battery | 35+ hours total; 9 hours per earbud; case adds 26+ hours |
| Quick charge | 10 minutes = 1 hour |
| Bluetooth | Bluetooth 5.3; SBC, AAC |
| Water | IPX4 (earbuds only) |
| Case | Integrated USB-C charging cable |
| Extras | Be Aware mode, JLab App, Google Fast Pair, use either earbud on its own |
| Warranty | 2-year limited warranty |
| Price | $26.99 (list price on JLab's site as of Oct 23, 2026) |
Our read: At this price, the long battery life and the cable built into the case stand out. Be Aware mode, which lets in outside sound, is a useful feature for someone walking near traffic.
Skip it if: they need fully waterproof earbuds. JLab rates them IPX4 (splash and sweat) and says that rating covers the earbuds only. JLab also notes there's no wall adapter in the box.
3. Anker Nano Power Bank (30W, Built-In USB-C Cable)
Who it's for: the person whose phone is always at 10% by dinner.
| Spec | Anker Nano Power Bank, model A1259 (official) |
|---|---|
| Capacity | 10,000mAh |
| Ports | Built-in USB-C cable, plus USB-C and USB-A ports |
| Output | USB-C and built-in cable: 30W max; USB-A: 22.5W max; total output 24W max |
| Weight | 7.58 oz (215 g) |
| Size | 4.09 × 2.06 × 1.02 in (104 × 52.3 × 26 mm) |
| Price | $49.99 (list price on Anker's site as of Oct 23, 2026) |
Our read: The built-in cable is the reason to pick this one: nobody has to remember to pack a cord. With three outputs, you can charge more than one device from it.
Skip it if: they want the lightest possible battery; Anker lists it at 215 g. Also note Anker lists total output at 24W max, below the 30W single-port figure.
4. Logitech Pebble Keys 2 K380s
Who it's for: someone who types on a tablet, or who works from a laptop and a desktop and wants one keyboard for both.
| Spec | Logitech Pebble Keys 2 K380s (official) |
|---|---|
| Connection | Bluetooth Low Energy; works with a Logi Bolt USB receiver (not included) |
| Devices | 3 Easy-Switch Bluetooth channels |
| Works with | Windows 10, 11 or later; macOS 11 or later; iPadOS 14 or later; iOS 14 or later; Android 9.0 or later; ChromeOS; Linux |
| Battery | 2 x AAA (alkaline); 36 months (Logitech says battery life may vary) |
| Wireless range | 32.8 ft (10 m) (Logitech says range may vary) |
| Size | 4.88 x 10.98 x 0.63 in (124 x 279 x 16 mm) |
| Weight | 14.64 oz (415 g) |
| Price | $39.99 (list price on Logitech's site as of Oct 23, 2026) |
Our read: The three-device switch is the gift here: one keyboard can go from a laptop to a tablet to a phone with a button press. Logitech's battery figure of 36 months on AAA cells means the person won't be hunting for a charging cable.
Skip it if: they want to remap keys on a tablet or phone. Logitech says its Logi Options+ customization app is for Windows and macOS only; on other systems the basic functions work without it. It also runs on AAA batteries, not a built-in rechargeable one.
5. Logitech Brio 100
Who it's for: a student or relative whose laptop camera looks grainy on video calls, or who has a desktop with no camera at all.
| Spec | Logitech Brio 100 (official) |
|---|---|
| Video | 1080p/30fps (1920x1080) and 720p/30fps (1280x720) |
| Camera | 2MP; fixed focus |
| Field of view | 58° diagonal |
| Microphone | Built-in omni-directional mic; range up to 3 ft (1 m) |
| Privacy | Integrated privacy shutter |
| Connection | USB-A, plug-and-play; 4.92 ft (1.5 m) cable |
| Light | RightLight 2 auto-light balance |
| Computer needs | 2GB RAM or more for 1080p streaming (about 1GB for 720p) |
| Price | $39.99 (list price on Logitech's site as of Oct 23, 2026; the page also showed a lower sale price that day) |
Our read: It covers the basics a video call needs: 1080p, a built-in mic and a shutter you can slide closed when you're done. Plug-and-play USB means there's nothing to install to get started.
Skip it if: the computer only has USB-C ports. Logitech lists a USB-A plug, so you'd need an adapter. Logitech also lists the mic range at up to 3 ft, so it suits one person at a desk, not a whole room.
